A fun day was indeed had by all at the 2018 MASG Family Day. With piles of beautiful Boomerang Bags ready to be painted and drawn on, (art supplies generously donated by Art Supplies Castleamine) many people left the park that day with a unique, colourful, re-usable bag. Sewn by our local Boomerang Bag collective out of discarded hospital sheets, the bags are large and tough and will help families across the shire say no to plastic bags when they shop. With circus games, face painting and local artist Trace Balla there to help inspire the creative process it was a truly fun day. This day was made possible by a Mount Alexander Shire Council community grant.
