The AGM is upon us!
Posted on 21 November 2012 by e-news
It’s our AGM on Thursday, 22 November. Not exactly a gala, edge of the chair night of nights that the Cabaret (see below) promises to be, but a vitally important event for the open governing and future good functioning of our organisation.
We’re required to make our documents public, so here they are. Below you’ll find the minutes of our 2011 AGM, our audit report, our financial information and a draft agenda for Thursday’s meeting.
If you haven’t already got it in your diary, the AGM is Thursday, 22 November at 7.30pm in the Ray Bradfield Room. There’ll be cakes dips, biscuits, beverages, a slideshow, good company, a Hungarian gypsy dance troupe.
Oh, and voting! In with the new.
(And the dancing comes with the cabaret.)
And if AGMs don’t light your fire, this might! Even better, come to both.
Get set to rock your socks off on 1 December at the Anglican Church Hall with a mixed line up of tantalising performances from our very own Big Bang Buelah (aka Penny Larkins), Anthony Verity and the Red Shoes (sassy tapping extravaganza).
Dance the night away to the groovy tunes of DJ Fat Dog, enjoy tasty sustainable treats made by CAKE and volunteers and partake in local alcohol by Welshman’s Reef and others.
Get all your Christmas presents and feel good about yourself at the same time by purchasing goods from our Silent Auction.
Get involved in the end of the world! Come along! Volunteer!
This is a fun opportunity and we’re still seeking volunteers. We’re looking for a crew to help with decorating, publicity, tech, set up and pack up, and other general coordination. Contact Alex on 0439 946 007.
