Notice to Members
The Annual General Meeting of the Mount Alexander Sustainability Group Inc will be held on
Thursday 17 November 2022 at Senior Citizens Hall, Mechanics Lane, Castlemaine, at 7.30pm.
Tea and biscuits will be available on arrival.
This notice includes links to various documents – clicking on a link will download the document for you to peruse.
The agenda is here, and it includes the usual AGM things, as follows –
- consideration of the minutes of the 2021 AGM;
- President’s Report and Treasurer’s Report, available as one document;
- election of members of the committee – nominations (using this nomination form) of
candidates must be with the Secretary 7 days before the AGM, that is by 6.00 pm on 16
November 2022; and - setting of membership fees (no changes proposed)
Please note that you need to be a financial member to vote at the meeting – you can pay your membership fees here. Please also note that a financial member may appoint another member as a proxy for the meeting, using this form.
And, after the formal meeting, there will be a presentation on the Mount Alexander Bioenergy
Project, which we hope can make a great contribution towards reducing the Shire’s greenhouse gas emissions. Mick Lewin and Deane Belfield will provide an update on the status of the project
and the likely next steps.
