MASG is working to establish a small wind park (2-6 turbines) to supply local homes with clean, renewable electricity. The group working on the project is called MACWind.
The community will be invited to be owner-investors and economic benefits will stay local via returns on investment and a new community grants fund. The project is initiated and led by local people.
Wind power is an effective, cheap and emissions-free way to meet our electricity needs. It is well-established and widely used in many parts of the world.
