G’day from new EO, Mike Hall
G’day to all our members, volunteers and supporters.
Firstly, thank you to all those who have given their time, energy and enthusiasm to MASG in the course of the year. Your efforts are crucial to making things happen! It is great to be here, and to start absorbing all the amazing projects that MASG has going, and to be meeting the amazing people that are making them happen!
Thanks also to members of the staff, board, and members who have gone out of their way to welcome myself and my family to the town. We are already getting a feel for the strength of spirit in Castlemaine, and the Shire in general.
I am looking forward to meeting many more of you in the New Year, and working together to achieve a more sustainable community.
I hope you can all take some time to rest and relax over summer, and spend time connecting with the natural environment, and help sustain yourselves and families.
Message from MASG Chair, Jim Norris
A huge amount has been achieved this year, whether it be working with the community to change our behaviours through Challenge to Change and the Steppers project; working with local businesses to open the Low Solar House and working with major town industries and the CSIRO to progress the Maines Power project.
A very big thank you to members, volunteers, board and staff for their efforts this year and we look forward to involving you all in more exciting projects next year
